The Parade will kick off at 12 noon, followed by a Post-Parade Celebration from 2 pm to 5 pm.

El Barrio’s Parade is the Puerto Rican Parade of Spanish Harlem.
This inclusive event features no floats, offering free participation to all attendees, with security provided by the 23rd Precinct of East Harlem.
Spearheaded by Marc Reign, a distinguished Professional Actor and native of Spanish Harlem, the Parade is organized under the auspices of Latino Excellence LLC, a company he founded. Reign underscores the paramount importance of preserving cultural heritage amidst contemporary challenges, stating, “Cultivating this new tradition in Spanish Harlem, in collaboration with other community establishments, is pivotal in fostering unity.”
The Parade highlights organizations that work hard for the community such as Mi Patria, Campamento Carey, Oyate Group, Little Shield Project, NYC Cops and Kids Boxing and more. Special appearances by Gold Medalist Boxer Nisa Rodriguez, young rising star Josh Garcia, rapper/influencer Word Life and so many more!
During the Post-Parade celebration, there will be a special honoring for Frankie Cutlass, a Spanish Harlem native and a renowned DJ. Also recognizes the 30th anniversary of his classic hit “Puerto Rico”. Along with other performances by Bonafide Rojas, Riestra y los Bohiques, Johnny Bliss, The Young Ambition Dance Co. and the Orchesta Rosello Salsa Band.
Food provided & Drinks by Medalla, Chef Oso, La Fonda and Shag Snacks Catering.
